The Shop @ Show Ready and longtime client, 2K, amazed E3 attendees again this year by creating an immersive two-story exhibit that transported E3 attendees to a neon-lit street scene straight out of New Orleans’ French Quarter. Praised as “authentic… elaborate and exquisite” by We Got This Covered and called the “Best Booth of the Show” by Xbox Achievements, the exhibit dominated the Los Angeles Convention Center. This totally immersive experience took home top honors across several key industry awards in design and creative.
Inspired by 2K’s game Mafia III, which takes place in a fictionalized city called New Bordeaux, the 15,000 SQ FT double deck exhibit provided distinct environments for upcoming releases of NBA 2K, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, and WWE 2K.
All of the Shop’s skills were on display from project management and engineering to graphics production and scenic fabrication. 49 Craftsmen logged nearly 10,000 hours of custom fabrication, 7 painters contributed over 1,000 hours of scenic production, and 7,000 SQ FT of graphics were printed to create a living breathing cobblestone New Orleans Street Scene complete with an old-time movie theatre and marquee.
The Shop constructed secret meeting rooms with sliding bookcases, streetside balconies for revelers, massive neon signs, and even found a way to incorporate a few fish tanks. When it’s imperative that your exhibit make a statement and only the best will cut it, there is only The Shop @ Show Ready.

Along with this gigantic character we also did furnitures, decorations, scenic props. And you can’t miss a 11,000 squarefoot – 2 story structure. It is essentially a building within a building!
